The material itself isn't as thick as what you'd expect from a typical blue tarp. Nonetheless, it is still a very capable and and versatile function product.
I needed a footprint for my Kelty Grand Mesa 2 tent and didn't want to spend $40+ on the Kelty brand. This coincidentally fit the floor perfect! By perfect I don't mean to the exact dimension, but pretty close. The corner eyelets fit into the tent pole, and I tuck the excess material under the rain fly and tent itself so the rain doesn't drip onto it. It's small and compact when folded up and fitted into its pouch. I could see many uses for it such as table cloth, tent footprint, rain cover/shelter. or just a regular workshop tarp. I keep mine with my camping gear, but plan on buying another one as I can think of many uses for it and price is hard to beat.
